CONCEPT: A system to give a vertical machining center more capabilities than a horizontal machining Center.

DESIGN: A Pallet Rotary Table was designed from the ground up with a pallet clamping system combined with a precision, heavy duty rotary table. The pallet rotates around a horizontal centerline. This enables tailstock support when tombstone pallets are used.

FEATURES:

• CLAMPING - Pallets are clamped against four self-cleaning seats with six thousand pounds of force.

• LOCATING - The pallets locate onto the face of the rotary table using a plug and diamond configuration.

• ACCURACY - +/- .00005" repeatability.

• A/B BRAKE - A powerful braking system that removes backlash from the system before breaking is applied.

• WEDGELOCK - A wear compensating Wedgelock system is used every 90° (60° optional) to assure additional rigidity and accuracy at those positions.

• SWING - 20.6".

• TOMBSTONE LENGTH - Limited only be the machining center x-axis travel.
