CONCEPT: The automatic tailstock support provides rigidity and accuracy for long tombstone pallets.

ADVANTAGE: With support at both ends longer and thinner tombstones are now possible. This reduces the weight and cost usually associated with large tombstones.

The increased length allows for more parts to be loaded for each setup. Since deflection is not an issue, thinner tombstones can be used for increased flexibility and easier access for multi-sided machining.

FEATURES:

• Tailstock automatically engages the pallet after rotary table clamping is complete.
